To support the growing market demands, Medicontur HQ is now looking for an ambitious:

Event Assistant

Duties of the Event Assistant include:

  • Assisting the work of the Event Manager in daily operations
  • Assisting in planning, organizing, and executing events
  • Supporting the planning and execution of activities such as scientific symposiums, seminars, booth talks
  • Accompanying Event Manager to both internal and external events and exhibitions
  • Proactively supporting events preparations by assisting with a variours activities
  • Assisting with venue selection, briefings, requests for proposals, catering, AV, registrations, transportation needs, layouts, decorations, marketing materials, hostesses, etc.
  • Organizing meetings and appointments
  • Preparing professional materials
  • Keeping conference attendee registration up to date
  • Recording accommodation bookings
  • Ensuring all branded items for events arrive on time
  • Assisting in setting up and tearing down
  • Providing suggestions to enhance the event’s appearance
  • Improving processes associated with events
  • Performing administrative tasks (cost controlling)
  • Prepare post-event reports
  • Occasionally supporting the work of the International Marketing Director

Requirements of the role:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • 1-2 years of relevant professional experience in event organisation
  • Excellent written and spoken English is a must
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel and Power Point
  • Strong communication skills, openness to new tasks
  • Problem solving attitude and flexibility
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Confident and outgoing, team player personality
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Well organised
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
