Responsibilities

Define and lead the strategy for platform firmware and software stacks that enable Arm-based SoCs and devices.
Gather and manage requirements from diverse sources inside and outside Arm, translating stakeholder needs into clear, testable specifications.
Maintain end-to-end requirement traceability to guide engineering execution.
Shape product roadmaps turning research and prototype software into stable, customer-ready solutions.
Guide the lifecycle of Arm software products from concept to delivery and long-term support.
Collaborate closely with architecture, silicon, and product teams to align system software capabilities with Arm’s technology roadmap.
Partner with external customers, OEMs, and developers to understand real-world needs and improve the developer experience.
Represent Arm in external forums and partnerships, sharing leadership in embedded technology.

Requirements

Proven background in system software or firmware development, ideally with experience in product-ready systems or SDKs.
Wide expertise across software disciplines such as platform library optimization, real-time software and operating systems, C/C++ development, device drivers, and hardware–software integration.
Experience in Requirements Management, stakeholder management, and leading teams implementing software products from a strategic roadmap.
Success working with customers or ecosystem partners on embedded or low-level software.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a people-first leadership approach.
