Responsibilities
- Define the global paid media strategy and investment framework, and manage external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and performance.
- Oversee regional and market investments to ensure paid media sufficiency and consistency.
- Translate the global paid media strategy into actionable frameworks for local adaptation and execution.
- Define audience targeting and segmentation strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Drive budget allocation, cost management, and strategic planning to optimize paid media efficiency.
- Lead agency relationships with the manager and evaluate performance against defined KPIs to ensure delivery on strategic goals
- Leads Media Playbooks and Guidelines building, updates and diffusion
- Drive Framework, Guidelines & Playbook building with the media agency, ensuring consistency and application.
- Regularly update and adapt Framework, Guidelines & Playbook to reflect emerging media trends and Decathlon’s evolving business strategies.
- Suggest Paid Media best practices based on established norms and historical learnings. Act as an advisory to the business on paid media.
- Define and improve activation processes to ensure quality of execution across countries/teams (leveraging specialist input).
- Ensure Paid Media Quality and Effectiveness
- Building and maintaining quality guidelines.
- Supporting Campaign teams
- Drive the global Paid Media learning agenda.
- Pre-testing assets in cooperation with dedicated teams to ensure their performance optimization.
- Creative effectiveness supervision.
- Cross channel management & optimization (strategic oversight).
Requirements
Hard skills
- Minimum 3 years experience in paid media strategy, paid media planning, or integrated marketing communications
- Strong understanding of digital media ecosystems and advertising technologies
- Proven ability to manage agencies and complex marketing projects
- Experience in campaign performance analysis and optimization
- Proven ability to manage budgets and administrative duties with high precision and reliability
- English (B2): Understands the main points of complex texts and can express detailed thoughts.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to think long-term, align marketing initiatives with business goals, and make data-driven decisions.
