Responsibilities

Support the Production Manager in the overall management of production operations and strategy;
Ensure stable production performance, focusing on batch consistency, yield rate, and electrochemical performance;
Monitor and improve production KPIs (efficiency, scrap rate, cost, quality);
Ensure strict control of magnetic foreign particles and other critical quality risks;
Standardize production processes and manage the development and revision of process documentation;
Coordinate implementation and control of process changes across the production line;
Supervise daily production activities, conduct audits, and manage deviations and corrective actions;
Lead root cause analysis and resolve production and process-related issues to ensure stable mass production;
Support new product introduction (R&D → pilot → mass production) and ramp-up activities;
Participate in customer-related activities, including sample submission, technical discussions, and PPAP/APQP processes;
Drive quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives within production;
Lead, coach, and evaluate production teams to ensure high performance;
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (quality, engineering, maintenance, logistics);
Handle customer complaints related to production processes and implement corrective actions;
Ensure compliance with industry standards and systems (e.g., IATF 16949, customer audits).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields;
Minimum 5 years of experience in battery materials or related manufacturing processes;
At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience;
Strong knowledge of ternary cathode material production processes;
Familiarity with high-nickel and single-crystal material systems;
Experience with PPAP/APQP processes and magnetic foreign particle control;
Knowledge of IATF 16949 or similar quality management systems;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Fluent in English.
