Responsibilities

Design and oversee end-to-end data solutions
Act as the main link between business stakeholders and technical teams
Develop high-level designs and blueprints for data ingestion, processing, and storage
Define and implement technical strategies for migrating data from traditional databases to cloud environments
Ensure all data solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, data models, and security guidelines
Integrate data architectures with advanced analytics and AI initiatives
Provide guidance to engineering teams throughout the development and operational phases

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
At least 4 years of experience as a Data Solution Architect, Data Architect, or Senior Data Engineer
Deep knowledge of modern Data Lakehouse and Cloud Data Warehouse architectures, especially on AWS (such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, EMR, Lake Formation, Kinesis/MSK)
Strong skills in data modeling including Dimensional/Kimball, Data Vault 2.0, 3NF, Semantic Layer modeling, and Data Product contracts
Hands-on experience with modernizing legacy data warehouses, building ETL/ELT pipelines, working with streaming data (Kafka/EventBridge), and implementing data quality frameworks
Solid understanding of data governance including data catalogs, lineage, quality frameworks, GDPR compliance, and access control
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills in both English and Hungarian

Nice-to-have

Familiarity with Knowledge Graphs, vector search, RAG architectures, and integrating data for AI/ML
Experience in telecommunications data domains
