Responsibilities

Design, develop and validate machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions.
Define and implement data product E2E within assigned domains.
Partner with domain teams to translate business challenges into analytical problems and solution designs.
Ensure high technical and governance standards are adhered to in model and product development.
Communicate actionable insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Continuously monitor model performance and retrain as necessary.
Mentor and collaborate to help our diverse data community increase data literacy and apply modern AI augmented workflows.

Requirements

Qualification:
- Masters degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics or a related field
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in data and analytics, preferably in a Data Scientist role
- Business and Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with various business processes and domains
Experience and Know-how:
- Mathematical and statistical excellence: apply state of the artmethodologies to build Data and ML / AI products
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure and MS Fabric), data lakes and event-driven architectures.
- Transformative Skills: Ability to work across teams and influence stakeholders with impactful data storytelling.
- Data Governance: Ability to implement data governance into Data and ML / AI Products
Beneficial: Experience with IT Enterprise Architectures and UX concepts like Design Thinking; Proven experience working in a decentralised data team setup (Data Mesh)
Languages: English; German (optional but preferred)
