Állás leírása

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for local data privacy matters and issues
  • Consultation with departments to identify and assess personal data processing
  • Recommendation of measures to manage risks associated with data processing
  • Follow-up on execution of data protection measures
  • Keeping records of processing activities up to date
  • Assessment of contracts with respect to data privacy
  • Management of necessary addendums and processing agreements
  • Support of vendor assessments by identifying and analyzing data protection controls
  • Creation and maintenance of information on data processing activities, privacy impact assessments, legitimate interest assessments
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR and company policies regarding data protection
  • Follow-up on mandatory training completion
  • Provision of personal and/or virtual training to local staff on demand to increase awareness
  • Measurement and reporting of KPIs such as training participation and training results
  • Participation in community calls and meetings to share and receive know-how from other Data Protection Coordinators
  • Continuous improvement of processes and documents related to data privacy within the organization
  • Ensuring data protection compliance of cloud services including documentation, forms, and compliance with data protection requirements

Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role with GDPR focused duties in a larger organization
  • Strong verbal and written English language knowledge with business vocabulary

Nice-to-have

  • Assertive communication skills
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Willingness to take on responsibility and follow through own ideas for improvement
  • Ability to explain GDPR topics and principles for all staff in an easy-to-understand way
  • Competence to work with international teams
  • Hands-on GDPR experience in a multinational environment
  • Basic German knowledge
  • Law degree
  • Specialization on Data Protection field
