Responsibilities

Architecture design of large-scale market data initiatives
Software engineering of secure, high performance, scalable and maintainable applications
Integration and deployment of market data initiatives
Coordination and collaboration with internal OneMSCI stakeholders
Conversion of business requirements into applications and tools
Improvement and creation of modern and sophisticated platform using latest technologies
Evaluation of architectural and design approaches, solutions, frameworks and technologies
Development of best practices for architecture, design, coding and automated test coverage
Collaboration with Enterprise Architecture team on common architectural principles
Development, documentation and deployment of reliable and scalable software for market data and terms & condition databases
Ensuring optimal availability, latency, scalability and efficiency of real-time application development
Development and maintenance of automated testing framework for continuous integration and deployment
Working in DevOps model to support automated monitoring, telemetry and feedback of production processes
Preparation of written and diagramed architecture, design and workflow proposals

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related sciences/technology field or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux/Unix, GIT Version Control, PL/SQL, Microsoft Azure and DevOps pipeline development
Proficiency in SQL/Relational databases: Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL, Postgres
Experience with big data environments and cloud storage technologies (e.g. ADLS, Snowflake)
Experience with Azure Cloud ecosystem and On Premise to Cloud migration and transformation
Experience building market data systems in a large multi asset class environment
Experience with financial products, legal entity hierarchy, corporate fundamental data, and instrument and derivatives pricing and settlement
Experience with large vendor market data architectures and products (e.g. LSEG/Refinitiv DataScope and Onsite Fixed Income-EJV, Markit, IDC, S&P, Moodys)
Experience with multi asset class 3rd party benchmark data (e.g. JPM, FTSE, iBoxx, Merrill, Bloomberg/Barcap)
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and presentation skills
