Responsibilities

We are rebuilding our sales and customer success team and are looking for our first Customer Success and Sales Manager in Hungary. This is a dual-role position split roughly 60/40 between sales and customer success:

  • Three days per week — Sales (Hunter): prospect, pitch, and close new optical retailers in Hungary. Run on-site implementation and training when a deal lands.
  • Two days per week — Customer Success: remotely support and grow our existing Hungarian customer base. Monitor usage, run onboarding follow-ups and "deepening" workshops, and triage incoming questions and bug reports together with our L1 support team.


You will travel within Hungary to customer sites for roughly three days a week (variable depending on pipeline). The remaining two days are remote / from home / from our Budapest office, your choice.

What You'll Work With

  • Customers: Optical retail chains and independent stores across Hungary
  • Internal stack: clearvis.io (our own product), CRM, Google Workspace, our handbook and runbooks
  • Team: Small, hands-on. You will be the first dedicated CS+Sales hire in HU; two more peers will join in HR and RO over the summer.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in optical retail sales and/or customer success — or directly adjacent roles (e.g., dental practice software, pharmacy chains, healthtech B2B sales).
  • Established connections and a recognisable reputation in the Hungarian optical retail industry.
  • Hunter mindset: you have personally closed new business, not only managed accounts.
  • Comfortable with field travel within Hungary (~3 days/week typical) and a valid driver's licence.
  • Working English for internal communication with the rest of the company and future regional peers.
  • Self-directed: you can structure your week, your pipeline, and your customer follow-ups without daily oversight.
  • Ownership: when a customer escalation lands at 5pm Friday, you don't put it off until Monday.

Nice-to-have

  • Direct experience selling or onboarding SaaS to small and mid-size optical chains.
  • Prior customer success / account management track record (renewals, expansion, churn-risk handling).
  • Experience running on-site training for non-technical staff.
  • Comfort with CRM hygiene and pipeline reporting.
  • Familiarity with the Croatian or Romanian optical retail markets (we are expanding there next).
