YOUR TASKS

As Commis de Rang In Room Dining, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Professional advice and customer care for our guests
Professional serving of food and drinks
Complying with our high-quality standards
Preparing the required mise-en-place, covering and cleaning work in the In Room Dining area
Supporting your Chef de Rangs in their daily tasks
Registering all transactions in the cash register system and carrying out correct cash accounting
Assisting in the preparation and implementation of special events
Complying with hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines

YOUR PROFILE

As Commis de Rang In Room Dining, we expect from you:

Completed vocational training in the hotel or catering industry or 1–2 years of work experience in F&B, preferably in fine dining
Communicative skills - guests will contact you with complaints as well as positive feedback
Open-mindedness and teamwork skills
Excellent manners and well-groomed appearance, as well as a positive charisma
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure - your position will include weekend and holiday shifts
Excellent knowledge of English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
Successful applicants must have the right to work in Switzerland
