Responsibilities

This role can be based in either France or Germany

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the Commercial Operations strategy, partnering with business leaders to enable high performing, insight led commercial teams across the region.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to Regional and Country Leaders, challenging assumptions and supporting decision‑making through robust data, performance insights, and scenario planning.
  • Provide insights into data trends, KPIs and performance drivers in alignment with business priorities.
  • Champion modern, multi-channel and omnichannel ways of selling, working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to optimize customer engagement models.
  • Implement streamlined and consistent processes and analytics across the cluster.
  • Create executive level presentations and narratives using data and visualizations to clearly tell the commercial performance story.
  • Create business cases for new business opportunities and support Regional and Country leaders in strategy development and business opportunity identification.
  • Develop and implement predictive revenue models to support forecasting accuracy and strategic planning.
  • Support the Business Development Manager with analytics to develop robust business cases for new revenue streams.
  • Build strong networks within Commercial Excellence across EMEA, International and Global.
  • Develop, analyse, and report key performance indicators in HealthCloud and Marketing Cloud and other commercial systems.
  • Define and deploy Sales Force Effectiveness Programs and Commercial Productivity programmes together with the Regional and Country leaders to maximise impact and Share of Category.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the business analyst team, ensuring strong analytical capability and business orientated mindset.
  • Develop, analyse, and report key performance indicators of pan-European customer and contribute to the implementation of the strategy.
  • Defining and rolling out a consistent process and plan on the Sales Incentive Plan for the Commercial team across the cluster
  • Oversee demand forecasting and planning process.
  • Oversee monthly Insight Health data analysis for Share of Category and Market development.
  • Oversee local Sales Incentive Plan calculations and tracking.
  • Support the Marketing team to assess impact of campaigns and materials.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Mathematics, Science or similar); healthcare-related qualifications are a plus.
  • 7+ years' experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations or Commercial Excellence, preferably within MedTech, Pharma or related sectors, with regional/EU responsibility.
  • Experience supporting multi-channel and omnichannel commercial models.
  • Sales or Sales Management experience is desirable.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM and commercial analytics tools such as Salesforce/HealthCloud and IMS/Insight Health data.
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages are advantageous.
  • Proven ability to coach analysts and commercial teams to drive insight-led decision making.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to convert data into business actions.
  • Strong commercial acumen, customer focus and results orientation.
  • Able to influence senior stakeholders and drive change in complex matrix environments.
  • Effective leader with strong communication skills, integrity, resilience and a collaborative mindset.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with willingness to travel across Europe as required.
