More details about the job, main responsibilities and tasks:

Structuring commercial deals for the E&P business
Managing internal consultations with relevant business units and functions.
Attending and/or leading negotiations of commercial contracts
Performing market research and analyses to identify commercial opportunities.
Responsible for the preparation of reports and proposals for the management and internal alignment processes with the respective stakeholders.
Contribute to business development projects on relevant commercial aspects.
Support Group VP/Head of E&P Commercial in joint venture negotiations and other critical commercial issues related to joint venture management.
Support Group VP/Head of E&P Commercial in all other business issues of commercial relevance.
Reviewing economic models as precursors for business decision.

The ideal candidate:

University degree, preferably in earth sciences, engineering, economics or law
4 – 8 years professional experience in oil and gas industry
Business fluency in English (written and oral) is a prerequisite for the job
Necessary professional competencies: stakeholder/client focus, team player with focus on alignment and cooperation, commitment to Group values, intercultural experience deep understanding of partner management
Required skills: strong interpersonal skills, good commercial understanding and financial acumen, competitive and proactive mind-set, developing strategies, energy and drive, negotiation skills, ability to work under pressure, integrity and maturity, outstanding presentation and process skills, strategic thinking, conflict management, influence, resolution, stake holder management, cross functional leadership, technology savvy
