Collecting Specialist with Basic German

Are you eager to launch your career in an international environment? Or perhaps you have a passion for Finance processes and some knowledge of working with SAP/Oracle?

Look no further - this could be the perfect opportunity for your next career step! On this role, you will have the chance to support multiple German DHL Legal entities in execution of back office collecting tasks while ensuring the accounts receivable is up to date and reconciled with customer and banks.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Administration:

  • Investigate and resolve payment-related queries promptly.
  • Allocate payments to customer accounts accurately.

Collecting:

  • Monitor customer accounts, take necessary actions, and escalate defaulting customers.
  • Ensure compliance with DPDHL terms and conditions.
  • Maximize collections effectiveness in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support in resolving recurring billing issues.
  • Document collection activities efficiently.
  • Monitor credit limits and take appropriate action.
  • Identify root causes of problems and coordinate solutions.
  • Apply expertise to resolve recurring billing issues.

Qualifications & Key Requirements:

  • Fluent in English.
  • Basic proficiency (A2/B1 level) in German.
  • Familiarity with MS Office package.
  • A strong passion for administrative/finance tasks and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Customer oriented approach.

As a plus

  • Understanding of BCM principles, methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Previous experience in payroll operations or HR Services.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE, SCRUM or equivalent).
