Responsibilities

Taking on big operational challenges in hyperscale cloud backend
Owning hands-on change implementation
Deep problem investigation and proactive fixes
Working directly at the console and hardware of the platform
Joining project rollouts and helping launch new cloud features
Automating with modern frameworks
Collaborating in a high-trust expert team

Requirements

Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT and securing Linux OS with focus on modern cloud technologies
Solid knowledge of software defined networks, routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDoS, WAF and physical networks
Reliable knowledge in infrastructure automation
Experience in Linux and network related services and IT-Security
High level of customer focus
Knowledge of agile development processes
Ability to assess technical solutions and come up with creative approaches
Fluency in written and spoken English

Nice-to-have

OpenStack experience
Programming experience in open source projects
