Cloud Engineer

• The CloudOps Engineer is responsible for availability for cloud platforms

• Respond, troubleshoot and resolve production alarms

• Communicate and troubleshoot operational issues supporting a complex environment

• Respond to cloud service outages and manage incident tickets

• Participate in Cloud Updates and Maintenance

• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment with frequent incident response and changing priorities.

• University degree in connection with IT engineering, telecommunication, computer science,software engineering ,or a related technical field
• Requires excellent communications skills, both verbal and written in English
• Requires the ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and platform technologies, such as compute, storage, networking, PaaS, big data, middleware, and infrastructure tools; experience in at least one of these areas is required.
• Basic Linux/Unix administration skills
• Scripting knowledge in shell and/or python
• Understanding of basic networking standard protocols and components
• Knowledge of Cloud providers is an advantage (Like Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure)
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly with some support and guidance
• Ability to think outside-of-the-box to generate creative solutions to problems
• Ambitious personality with goal-oriented thinking
