Responsibilities

This hybrid, dynamic role that combines the strategic oversight of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with the hands-on administrative and operational management of an Office Manager
Key responsibilities are:
  • Assisting the CEO in managing company operations.
  • Managing departmental coordination across logistics, procurement, finance, and manufacturing.
  • Executing managerial instructions and coordinating with overall company strategy.
  • Responsibility for reviewing, managing, and supervision of all contracts, NDAs, suppliers, subcontractors, and more.
  • Liaising with external contractors, including insurance providers, shipping companies, bank, and office suppliers, including annual reviews.
  • Supervising the hiring of new staff as required.
  • Office and staff management. Including organizing company parties and other team building excursions.
  • Executing all daily bank wire transfer and managing the petty cash.
  • Cooperating with the Chief Accountant in financial matters and directly overseeing the administration and logistics team.
  • Assume a lead role in the company's imminent full implementation of Odoo ERP/MRP

Requirements

  • Native Hungarian speaker.
  • Strong command of English is a must. The company is 100% Hungarian, however most of our suppliers and clients are not.
  • Strong Human Resources skills and a people-oriented management style.
  • Higher education.
  • 10+ years’ work experience, 5 years managerial
  • Proven track record in a managerial role (e.g. General Manager, Deputy Manager, Office Manager).
  • Proven track record in team leadership.
  • Experience with ERP software implementation.
  • Good technical affinity to understand the company's core business.
  • Advanced command of MS office application (Word, Excel, PPT), strong computer skills.
  • Highly independent.
  • An open and sincere core personality.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Great with project management.
  • Great interpersonal skills

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in working at both SMB as well as multinational companies.
  • Technical background.
  • Naturally proactive.
  • Experience with contracts.
  • Experience working at a manufacturing company.
