CE Data Analyst

About the role
You will work in the professional team that is developing predictive models for daily sales forecasting, promo forecasting, weather impact on sales etc. Working with different data sources such as SQL database, text files or Hadoop. Our team collaborates with many people across Central Europe, United Kingdom and India. The field we are working in is vast and there is always something new to learn, the members are giving lessons to each other to extend our observations.

You will be responsible for

• Main responsibility will be supporting the operations team across CE with comprehensive data analysis and identifying actions to take to improve Supply Chain KPI measurements
• Using modern database technologies Teradata and Hadoop
• Creating documentations and presentations which helps to the stakeholders understand business processes and system functionalities
• Together with the teams in the UK and India actively participate on development and implementation of the forecasting models
• Managing micro-projects

You will need

• Education in mathematics, computer science, data science, logistics or similar
• Min. 1 year of relevant working experience
• Intermediate level of English language knowledge
• Mathematical and logical thinking
• Good presentation and communication skills to interpret conclusions
• Willing to learn about new approaches in the data science field
• Attention to the details
• Must have experince with:
  • SQL
  • MS Access
  • MS Excel
  • MS Powerpoint
• Good to have:
  • Knowledge about any of the following languages Python, Matlab, R or Scala
  • Understanding version control (Git, GitHub)
  • Understanding Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark)
  • Understanding the basic principles of Machine Learning (train/test, data validation, basic models)
