Business Intelligence & Process Owner Expert
Location: Budapest, MOL Campus
About Us:

We are seeking a motivated Business Intelligence & Process Improvement Specialist to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of our business intelligence solutions and processes. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong analytical background and a keen interest in transforming data into actionable insights.
Tasks
As a Business Intelligence & Process Improvement Specialist within DS Value Chain Management, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, implementation, and enhancement of business processes and tools. You will assist in managing projects, liaise with stakeholders across various functions, and contribute to the strategic development of our business intelligence systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Oversight: Support the planning, implementation, optimization, and measurement of business processes to drive operational excellence.
- Tool and Model Management: Assist in the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business tools, ensuring consistency and harmonization.
- System Improvement Proposals: Develop proposals for system enhancements and oversee the testing and introduction of new techniques, tools, and processes.
- IT Project Involvement: Participate in IT projects, contribute to system maintenance and development, and support strategic planning, scheduling and margin management areas.
- Regulatory Compliance: Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing relevant regulations.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor processes and system performance, provide insights, and suggest improvements.
- Strategic Vision Contribution: Contribute to the formulation and communication of strategic vision for supply, planning, optimization and scheduling applications in alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
- Business Analysis: Collect and prioritize business requirements, conduct business analysis, and create functional specifications.
- Software Portfolio Management: Manage the software portfolio, acting as a bridge between end users, IT, and third-party support.
Requirements
- Education: MSc in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and mathematical background.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective project and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in functional specification writing and translating business needs into precise requirements for developers.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies such as MS Excel (VBA), Power BI (DAX), Power Query, PowerPivot, Office applications
- Language: Advanced level of English, both written and verbal.
