Business Development and Retail Manager

to strengthen our dynamic team in Budaörs, Hungary

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth in a market with a significant growth potential with direct responsibility of dedicated business development resources
  • Drive growth across the cluster for specific category/portfolio
  • Achieve business growth in net sales, additional customer production capacity, availability of sound business growth strategy
  • Implementation of identified Business development plans
  • Analyze and address individual behaviours and team dynamics and bring this aspect into management discussions and business decisions

We believe you have:

  • The ability to understand and communicate how the financial result is affected by decisions and actions
  • Knowledge of portfolio of relevant product(s) (packages and closures, capital equipment, technical services) and their value proposition
  • Knowledge and skill to implement the Marketing strategy by using processes, tools and techniques. Ability to build impactful customer marketing plans. Able to track performance indicators.
  • The ability to understand the customer's business and financials, the complete value chain and operations and how they impact the customer's current and future
  • The ability to work in partnership with the customer, to understand their needs, to understand the next best alternative for the customer, to prepare & present a resonating value proposition and to deliver the proposed value. Ability to create real and sustainable added value for our customer
  • Knowledge and skill to drive business with our customers by using processes, tools and customer relationship management techniques. Through solid customer relationships, build and sucessfully implement annual account plans with a three year strategic view
  • University degree, MBA degree will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of Hungarian and English languages
  • FMCG backround is highly appreciated
  • Food and/or retail industry experience will be an advantage
  • Proven experience in sales is required
  • Willingness to travel on regular basis
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Driving license
