Responsibilities

Design and develop normalized and denormalized data models to support reporting and data integration needs
Apply dimensional modelling techniques to create efficient, scalable, and business-oriented data models
Develop and maintain data transformations and models using SQL and dbt
Translate business and reporting requirements into well-structured and reliable data models
Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on the underlying data models
Analyze and improve existing data models and reporting solutions to ensure data quality, performance, and scalability
Work closely with BI developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective analytics solutions
Contribute to the documentation of data models, data processes, and reporting solutions
Continuously identify opportunities to improve data modelling and reporting processes

Requirements

4+ years of experience in BI reporting and analytics
Strong hands-on SQL skills
Hands-on experience with Power BI, including report development and working with data models
Strong knowledge of dimensional modelling principles and experience designing data models for reporting and data integration
Practical experience with dbt and SQL-based data transformation
Good understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts and data integration processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders in a dynamic environment

Nice-to-have

Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data analytics environments
Experience working with large-scale or complex data environments
