Responsibilities

Lead Fixed Asset accounting activities for companies in scope within Harman’s global organization
Coordinate closing activities and ensure deadlines are met
Answer ad-hoc questions regarding Fixed Asset accounting
Enforce compliance with Harman policies and internal/external audit standards
Ensure timely responses to audit requests
Oversee adherence to internal controls
Monitor the performance of subordinate staff, set targets, and provide feedback
Provide training and support to direct reports as applicable
Collaborate with the line manager to provide professional guidance
Support new projects and process improvements as a lead participant and validate test results
Identify process, system, and standardization improvement opportunities
Provide Fixed Assets KPIs and metrics regularly
Collaborate cross-functionally within and outside GSSC

Requirements

Strong accounting knowledge with at least 5 years of experience
Team management experience
Fluent in English and Hungarian
Professional qualification in accounting, IFRS certification
Proven track record in fixed assets accounting
Advanced knowledge of local statutory accounting principles and/or IFRS
Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving skills
Willing to work in a hybrid model, with at least one day at the office
