Main responsibilities, tasks:

Accounting & Financial Reporting

Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, assets, costing, and reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under HAS and IFRS
Ensure accuracy and consistency of SAP S/4HANA financial data and reporting
Support internal and external audits and maintain compliant accounting documentation
Optimize accounting processes and strengthen internal controls

Tax & Compliance

Oversee Hungarian tax compliance including CIT, VAT, payroll taxes, and related filings
Ensure compliance with EU tax regulations, transfer pricing, and cross-border transaction requirements
Manage tax risk control, audits, and communication with tax authorities
Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary process updates

SAP S/4HANA FI Management

Manage and optimize SAP S/4HANA FI operations and financial master data
Maintain chart of accounts aligned with HAS and IFRS requirements
Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes
Partner with IT and Group Finance on system improvements, testing, and issue resolution

Team & Stakeholder Management

Lead and support the plant accounting team
Collaborate closely with Group Finance, local departments, auditors, and external advisors
Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies and internal controls

Required skills:

Strong experience in accounting and tax management, preferably in an international manufacturing environment
Deep knowledge of Hungarian Accounting Standards (HAS), IFRS, and Hungarian/EU tax regulations
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA FI
Solid understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing finance processes
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
High integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail
