• Supervise a team of 9 accountants, ensure the personal skill development & regular performance review for the team.
• Oversee resp. being part of preparation of statutory financial statements for inclusion in timely filings with regulatory agencies.

• Monthly group financial consolidation
• Ensuring consistent application, documentation and continuous improvement of group accounting policies (Swiss GAAP)
• Overseeing statutory accounts and audits in coordination with external auditors

• Responsible for managing general accounting functions covering STAAR Surgical AG and its foreign affiliates
• Manage, guide team in post go-live, adoption phase of Company’s new Oracle ERP and lead/contribute to subsequent update cycles

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes across departments
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning
• Monitor actual results versus budget/forecast and analyze variances

• Manage company accounting processes (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger)
• Handle payment transactions and liquidity planning
• Manage the monthly payroll run, including social insurances and tax at source (Quellensteuer)

Act as the sector lead for financial services, driving the delivery of high-quality FDI projects into the UK. Ensure alignment with Switzerland’s Country Trade Plan and DBT Europe’s Regional Trade Plan, working closely with the Head of Investment and the Country Director....

• Prepare consolidated monthly and annual financial statements of the AMAC Group in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER
• Support in the preparation of budgets, business plans, and regular forecasts
• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors
• Enhance reporting processes across subsidiaries
