• Conducting the conception, design, blueprinting and implementation of Financial Accounting and Controlling solutions in the environment of the SAP ERP / S4 HANA / Central Finance system architecture
• Integrating further SAP applications and system such as e.g. Concur, Ariba, etc.

• Member of the local management team
• Business partner for the general manager, addressing issues and proposing corrective actions
• Oversee accounting, relying on a chief accountant and their team for daily operations
• US-GAAP & statutory closes - full balance sheet and P&L responsibility

Serve as Lead Buyer for various assigned categories of indirect purchases (goods and services), including sourcing, needs assessment, vendor consultation, negotiation, and contract management....

• Translate demand forecast into supply and capacity plan
• Lead the procurement of your commodities by optimizing inventory levels and costs
• Strong follow up of the suppliers’ orders, including escalations
• Issue, explain and communicate the suppliers’ forecasts

• Ensuring site compliance with federal and local HSEQ regulations and Syngenta policies and standards, including security.
• Owning the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of a comprehensive HSE program and related management systems for the site.
