• Lead projects to develop and deploy systems, such as scientific instruments and sub-systems, forming a core project team with the project scientist and project engineer when applicable.
• Accountable for delivering projects to the science community in specifications, in budget and on time.

• Perform detailed stress analysis of aerospace structures and components using both classical hand calculations and advanced finite element methods (FEM), mostly of CFRP structures
• Identify failure scenarios and collaborate with design engineers to review and optimize structural designs

• Ensure timely global approvals for assigned products, with a particular focus on radio technologies within our development projects
• Take technical ownership of RF and EMC compliance (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE, GNSS, NFC, etc.) in line with applicable regulations and standards

• Drive product and technology innovation by conducting research in controls engineering, state estimation, and systems engineering
• Develop new mechatronic systems through proof-of-concepts and functional prototypes
