• Driving technical project execution by managing subprojects across timing, budget, and technical scope, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives.
• Conducting manufacturing feasibility analyses (DFA/DFM) and PFMEA for new products to guarantee robust and cost-effective designs.

Using your expert knowledge of optical system design, you liaise with R&D, product management and operations function of ZEISS strategic business units and Corporate Research & Technology and work towards early involvement in their R&D projects...

• Prepare detailed functional descriptions for PLC based plant automation, including I/O lists, sequence logic, interlocks, permissives and alarms
• Contribute to process risk analyses for injection plants together with the extended engineering team

• Performs time studies, test cuts, and machine demonstrations
• Programs multi-axis applications utilizing CAM-systems
• Reviews technical feasibility of RFQs and turnkey projects
• Develops leading machining processes
• Provides application support in-house and at customer site
