• Establish and manage the company's accounting processes and structures
• Perform day-to-day accounting operations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Act as the main point of contact for the external tax advisory firm
• Provide financial insights and analyses to support management decisions

• Build consistency and operational excellence through the organization in Germany and Netherlands
• Ensure bank is compliant to local financial control standards (HGB and IFRS) as well as Lloyds Banking Group - Financial Control framework (IFRS)

• Leverage operational background and experience to contribute to a growing business
• Work closely with PWM Management team, advising on operational policies and procedures to best navigate upcoming needs

• Standards & Process Excellence:
• Develop, harmonize, and implement KWS-wide guidelines and standards for production controlling, and continuously improve controlling processes in close collaboration with relevant business function
• Product Costing & Planning:

• You provide functional and disciplinary leadership to the Group Controlling team (currently 4 direct reports).
• You lead, manage, and execute the internal planning and budgeting processes across our five operating entities.

Provide senior oversight and strategic direction for teams focused on specific industrial sectors based at the Embassy in Berlin. Guide the translation of departmental priorities and the UK's Industrial Strategy into clear Germany-specific strategies and narratives....

• Design and oversee the reconciliation framework between the CBS, the ERP, and external reporting tools.
• Identify manual intervention points in the reconciliation flow and lead the implementation of automated matching engines and reconciliation software.

• Alignment of opening balance sheets
• Integration into monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting structures
• Ensuring consistency with central reporting standards
• Prepare or coordinate external advisors with Purchase Price Allocations (PPA) in accordance with IFRS 3.
