• Your Program starts at our headquarters (Grafschaft, Germany) and includes two six-month international assignments in Spain and France to gain global experience
• Central areas such as Accounting & Tax, Commercial Controlling, and/or Operations Controlling will be covered in depth

• Executing the processing and booking of Stock-Exchange transactions for the Swiss and UK businesses
• Processing of investment fund transactions (incl. alternative investment funds)
• Trade confirmation matching via SWIFT, Omgeo/CTM or paper-based matching

• Provide administrative support to the Schrödinger team in Europe
• Oversee the Mannheim office, with responsibilities including, but not limited to, greeting visitors, ordering office supplies, coordinating office maintenance work, and organizing office events and meetings

• Check and enter incoming invoices as well as match invoices with purchase orders (invoice verification)
• Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB
• Carry out postings relevant to the financial statements in general ledgers and sub-ledgers

• Extract and validate data from financial reports;
• Maintain Private Equity-related data;
• Ensure consistent data quality throughout the processes;
• Identify and report data anomalies and inconsistencies to relevant stakeholders for clarification;
• Process client inquiries;

• You conduct target-actual comparisons and deviation analyses to ensure the monitoring of company performance.
• You support the department in the preparation of reports for management and act as a reliable point of contact for queries.

• Leverage strong communication and relationship-building skills in frequent interaction with other areas of the firm, in particular, senior stakeholders and regulators
• Strongly communicate verbally and in writing including escalate timely any blockers/setbacks

• you support in preparing financial statements of the Branch in accordance with German GAAP,
• you support in preparation of regulatory reporting for supervisory authorities,
• you participate in the booking process in the area of own operations and reconciliation of accounting books,
