• Analyze and monitor the global development of prices for trading goods and intercompany prices with regards to material, energy, personnel, logistics and overhead costs to identify variances and improvement opportunities

• Run a smooth, efficient Accounts Payable operation
• Take ownership of day-to-day operational matters
• Research, analyze and resolve complex accounts payable and vendor related issues internal / external enquiries that cannot be resolved by the payables clerks

• Daily processing of GL/AP/AR transactions (with main focus on GL)
• Reconciliation of balance and nominal accounts. All deviations should be verified and explained
• Month-end closing for the chosen entity, reporting and verification of balance and turnover

• Review and verification of invoices for relevant documentation and approval before payment, formal and accounting verification of purchase invoices
• Independent and correct registration of purchase invoices in the books with the use of IT accounting systems
