• Providing advisory support to the business including Global Banking, commodities, asset management and private wealth management business lines
• Supporting the oversight and review of group-wide VAT compliance for Germany and across EMEA where returns are prepared by an outsourced provider

• Lead and manage the German Tax team
• Coordinate statutory notifications in line with directives from the Federal Central Tax Office and related institutions
• Oversee the handling of customer inquiries regarding the tax treatment of securities transactions
