In 18-24 months, you will go through various stations in Germany and abroad, taking on responsible tasks in the areas of application, software services, software and function development (requirements engineering, function development, validation and verification, virtualization, big data, and...

• Build up basic knowledge on mechanic and thermal behavior MEMS components, supported through analytical and numerical models
• Development of a system model for describing thermomechanical behavior of the system (Python or Matlab)

• Development, optimization, and industrialization of ultrasonic-based sensor systems for flow measurement applications
• Simulation & modelling, as well as signal processing and algorithms
• Characterisation and qualification of ultrasonic sensors (prototyping/validation, application/reliability tests)

• Your role will be to develop and establish the scientific foundations for a machine learning-based multiphysics framework, using surrogate models trained on validated EHL simulations.
• You will also create a novel, computationally efficient, data-driven design protocol for lubricated components.
