• Develop and integrate cutting-edge machine learning algorithms for future surgical imaging devices, utilizing multiple optical imaging modalities
• Work in a streamlined manner from a concept phase all the way to production-ready solutions

• Conceptual design and programming of test procedures in powertrain simulation environments using Python
• Continuous comparison of test procedures with other test resources such as powertrain test benches or test vehicles

• Support the Power BI expertise
• Support in the creation and improvement of the monthly KPIs reportings
• Improvement in the transparency of these KPIs
• Creation and rework of all KPI reports from Engineering Europe

• Reinforcement of the team at the EDAG ZERO PROTOTYPE LAB in Wolfsburg, a state-of-the-art driving dynamics simulatorcentre

• Perform structural and dynamic simulations using LS-DYNA for automotive and battery applications, including vibration and dynamic load scenarios

• Your tasks include the preparation, execution, and evaluation of numerical flow simulations (CFD) in the field of hydraulic turbines.
• You support the selection of the meshing strategy, the numerical modeling, and the automation of the post-processing.

• Develop and implement generative AI models for design optimization
• Integrate AI algorithms with Finite Element Method (FEM) and other simulation tools
• Analyze simulation results and propose design improvements
• Collaborate with engineers to automate optimization workflows

• Supporting the setup and execution of battery tests, including installation of thermocouples and sensors
• Assisting with the collection, processing, and analysis of both laboratory test data and field data from real-world battery applications

• Develop cutting-edge optical smart instruments and medical imaging devices, utilizing multiple optical sensing modalities with a focus on medical robotics applications
• Test concepts, core functionalities, and analyze data generated by optical sensing-based hardware and software

• Investigation on techniques to simulate/model aperiodic metasurfaces
• Determination of specific properties of aperiodic versus periodic metasurfaces for given applications (metric and merit function definition, computing cost)
• Comparison of theoretical and experimental results

• Evaluate most promising topological techniques (pixelated surfaces or shape deformation) for design optimization of metasurfaces
