• You support the global product development of the Automotive business unit in R&D with tape/ substrate sample preparation and mechanical testing
• You actively participate in our customer projects in the automotive sector
• You conduct tests and prepare test reports for ongoing projects

• Own the development, adaptation, and implementation of novel thin-film processes and technologies (e.g., evaporation, CVD, ALD) for MEMS applications in a 300 mm environment
• Drive the transfer of new MEMS processes and equipment from research into a highly automated 300 mm production line

• Develop the conceptual design of electrical systems for solar thermal plants.
• Design and specify electrical heat tracing (EHT) systems, including piping, tanks, cable routing, junction boxes, and interfaces to plant control systems.

• Lead the development of GaN process modules (etch, deposition, metallization, passivation..etc) to improve device performance.
• Collaborate with fab engineers to ensure the manufacturability, stability and scalability of the new technologies.

• Literature review of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis process simulations
• Familiarisation with Aspen Plus modelling
• Implementation of an FTS process model in Aspen Plus, including reactions, product separation and purification
• Validation of your model using available literature data

• Literature review on heat integration and thermal energy storage in SOEC, SOFC and rSOC systems
• Familiarisation with Aspen Plus and MATLAB/​Simulink modelling
• Definition of relevant system boundaries, operating cases, heat sources and heat sinks
