• Operation of a suite of online mass spectrometers (ToF-ACSM-X, VOCUS-PTR-MS) and further instrumentation to measure atmospheric composition in the gas and particle phases
• Operation of offline instrumentation such as filter samplers and cloud water collectors during dedicated campaigns

• Select suitable wave-optical propagation algorithms from in-house or open-source implementations
• Select relevant use cases and appropriate evaluation metrics
• Develop Python code for the evaluation and visualization of various propagation algorithms for selected applications

• Developing multi-scale and multi-modal representation learning methods for scientific imaging data (e.g., SEM, TEM, EBSD).
• Learning representations that are robust to scale changes, modality shifts, and domain differences across instruments and laboratories.
