• Prepare and review site and Exaktera financial accounts in accordance with German GAAP (HGB), IFRS, and US GAAP as applicable.
• Coordinate and lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with German tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and internal controls.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop financial plans and forecasts
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track commercial success

• Lead the annual budgeting process, as well as quarterly and monthly forecast updates, in collaboration with department heads
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support forecasting, strategic planning, and ad-hoc analysis

• Serve as the primary EDS approver for EMEA Enterprise deals.
• Review deal structures for compliance with pricing, discounting, margin, and booking policies.

• Prepare, create, and review sub-group financial statements in accordance with IFRS using SAP Group Reporting

• Lead a team of product cost, product pricing and program managers and be accountable for attraction, retention, training, and development of direct reports
• Own global Jenbacher equipment pricing process & systems

• Oversee the monthly close process for all sites within scope.
• Validate and review General Ledger entries according to the Enterprise Finance R&C calendar.
• Ensure strong processes and controls around site financial performance.

• Standards & Process Excellence:
• Develop, harmonize, and implement KWS-wide guidelines and standards for production controlling, and continuously improve controlling processes in close collaboration with relevant business function
• Product Costing & Planning:

• Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data, including in-depth analysis of inventory and fixed assets.
• Performing monthly bank reconciliations, preparing cash flow reports, developing cash flow forecasts, and identifying cash optimization opportunities.

• Contribute to the preparation and consolidation of the Group's financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow), ensuring accuracy and consistency of reported data.
• Prepare and monitor monthly reports and KPIs, supporting variance analysis versus prior year and budget.

• You provide functional and disciplinary leadership to the Group Controlling team (currently 3 direct reports) and the FP&A team (currently 3 direct reports).
• You lead, manage, and execute the internal planning and budgeting processes across our five operating entities.
