• A two-stage qualification program

• Develop a generative artificial neural network (ANN) for probabilistic radar QPE using single- and dual-pol radar data.
• Extend the developed generative ANN to allow additional conditioning on rain gauge data to provide a merged radar-gauge product.

• Conducting a comprehensive literature review on the current state-of-the-art methods in E2E driving and advanced uncertainty estimation techniques
• Integrating and validating suitable uncertainty estimation methods within the E2E driving pipeline

• Familiarize with the state-of-the-art in pose estimation and tracking applications
• Development of the hardware experimental setup based on the use-case
• Implementation of prototype solutions relying on methods from both geometric and/ or deep learning methods in computer vision and robotics
