• Design and implementation of complex enterprise-grade software solutions
• Definition and evolution of application, data, and integration architectures
• Design and architecture of service-oriented and event-driven systems
• Development of distributed, resilient, and highly available platforms

• You plan and coordinate vulnerability tools, scans, and offensive security testing, classify findings, lead weekly triage meetings, enforce SLAs, and escalate breaches
• Using your technical judgment, you assess the severity, exploitability, and exposure of findings to help teams prioritize remediation

• Manage the implementation of procurement systems and digital solutions
• Transfer the procurement digitalization strategy and roadmap into short-, mid- und long-term milestones
• Define future-ready and integrated processes, systems and AI-driven automation across different procurement categories

• Create and implement test strategies and concepts for all test levels in embedded, cloud, mobile and web applications
• Improve our development and testing processes, methods and tools, and support the development teams
• Plan, set up and maintain test environments and automation frameworks

• Owning the technical architecture on cloud and platform programmes from design through to production, across AWS and Azure.
• Leading engineering teams on delivery, typically three to eight engineers, through mentoring, code review and technical decision making rather than line management.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments and services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automation, containers and modern DevOps practices.
• A passion for designing reliable, scalable and secure cloud solutions.

• Evaluate and integrate emerging Mixed Reality, Augmented Reality, and Spatial Computing technologies into Brainlab products.
• Act as the primary technical interface between external suppliers, technology partners, and internal development teams.

• Design, develop, and integrate novel components, for example for establishing trust (e.g. SPIFFE / SPIRE), securing network connections (e.g. mTLS, IPSec), and secure device onboarding (e.g. FIDO Device Onboarding).
• Maintain and continually enhance our existing software written in Rust.

• Lead business and technical discovery sessions to understand customer objectives, requirements, constraints, risks and success measures
• Capture and translate customer needs into clear solution strategies, recommendations, scoped proposals, and phased roadmaps

• You understand our platform architecture, existing integrations and tech stack (C#/.NET, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP/Azure) deeply enough to independently plan and ship features and integrations.
• You've shipped your first hardware provider integration or significantly improved an existing one.
