• You will build customized automation solutions for ZEISS customers that need support for special light microscopy applications.
• Typically, these solutions encompass a completely automated light microscopy workflow from image acquisition to the image analysis.

• Familiarize yourself with state-of-the-art methods in reliability modeling
• Develop modeling approaches for load-driven degradation data
• Implement and compare different modeling approaches to identify the most efficient method, taking statistical variation and measurement uncertainty into account

• You will build customized automation solutions for ZEISS customers that need support for special electron microscopy applications
• Typically, these solutions encompass a completely automated electron microscopy workflow from image acquisition to the image analysis

• Supporting the setup and development of a ZEISS internal startup approach

• Contribute to research on video-based machine learning methods
• Develop and evaluate models for semantic video understanding (e.g., Object interaction in video, dynamic scene understanding, semantic segmentation)
• Work with real-world datasets and problem settings from ZEISS applications
