• Identify and evaluate new IT trends and technologies, to enable new business opportunities and drive innovations

• Manage and support IT infrastructure, systems, services, staff, and vendors of STAAR Surgical AG which includes Swiss and International users (non-US, non Japan, non China)
• Ensure IT infrastructure and systems operate optimally with minimal downtime and unplanned outages

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team that provides infrastructure services to over 400 engineers.
• Shape the team's technical direction, balancing cloud-native infrastructure evolution (AWS, EKS, Terraform, Kafka).
