• Formulation of product forms using emulsification, milling, spray drying, extrusion, and related formulation technologies

• Performs time studies, test cuts, and machine demonstrations
• Programs multi-axis applications utilizing CAM-systems
• Reviews technical feasibility of RFQs and turnkey projects
• Develops leading machining processes
• Provides application support in-house and at customer site

• Develop, optimize, and maintain optical coupling processes for optical communication modules (fiber attach, active/passive alignment, lens/waveguide coupling, etc.).
• Design and refine automated process sequences on alignment equipment (e.g., Ficontec)

• Define the overall test strategy and architecture.
• Design scalable test concepts for R&D and production.
• Define technical specifications for software development supporting automated testing.
• Evaluate and optimize test methodologies.
• Lead cross-functional technical discussions and teams.

• Develop, optimize, and explain complex additive manufacturing workflows (toolpaths, process parameters, multi-material workflows)

• Evaluation and development of production processes
• Optimize and validate production, drive yield improvements, determine root cause in case of quality issues and develop and implement corrective actions
