As a Product Portfolio Manager (f/m/x) within ZEISS Meditec AG, your role is similar to and in strong collaboration with product management for the single products contributing to your clinical workflow solution....

• Active contribution to Product care and a Key role in Product development as the technical lead for the Orbit & Consumables portfolio
• Technical support of product development project team

• Create, edit, manage and modify all product and process documentation using PLM and ERP software packages.
• Be a part of the Manufacturing team with extensive interactions with the R&D and Quality departments.

• You will shape and implement C++ software systems prioritizing performance, safety, reliability, and extensibility.
• By collaborating closely with other developers and engineers, you ensure seamless integration of our software into the robotic system.

• The design, development, test, documentation, release, and maintenance of embedded as well as PC based software.
• The software under your responsibility will be used on custom-made testers and will be used to drive and measure the performance of peripherals such as motors, actuators and sensors

• Work on potential AI and/or digital twin features for future medical devices
• Design solutions for computer vision problems towards advanced biomedical visualisations
• Evaluate and refine your approach on real-world data

• Assist in driving our strong growth in Surgical Ophthalmology and improving patients' vision globally
• Support the definition of the product portfolio strategy and roadmap for ZEISS Cataract Implants and Consumables, with a specific focus on Intraocular Lenses (IOL)

• Servant leader for java development, especially for health data management platforms
• Refine technical specifications & dependencies with architects and align with connected products
• Highlight and address technical dept and focus on continuous improvement
