• Perform optical simulations of devices for eye care using optical simulations in Ansys/Zemax (Optic Studio)
• Interact with a modern (object oriented) python framework to automate simulations as well as investigations and visualizations

• Develop and integrate cutting-edge machine learning algorithms for future surgical imaging devices, utilizing multiple optical imaging modalities
• Work in a streamlined manner from a concept phase all the way to production-ready solutions

• Actively support all areas of product and workflow management in the business field of refractive laser technology
• Work closely with the respective product managers on innovation and product development projects for our hardware and software products and collaborate with the R&D interfaces

Management of projects from conception, development work, verification, manufacturing, validation and ultimately product commercialization, in accordance with Hygiena's Product Commercialization Process (PCP)....

• Assist in driving our strong growth in Surgical Ophthalmology and improving patients' vision globally
• Support the definition of the product portfolio strategy and roadmap for ZEISS Cataract Implants and Consumables, with a specific focus on Intraocular Lenses (IOL)

• Operate as the primary point of contact taking comprehensive care of the needs of our customers around the world
• Ensure premium customer care through regular, remote and on-site Business Review Meetings (BRM) as well as leading Weekly Business Meetings (WBM)
