• Support the Model Governance team in overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of AFE models used across the business
• Assist in ensuring models are fit for purpose, well documented, compliant, and aligned with internal policies and regulatory expectations

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of 8-9 Financial Accountants
• Coordinate daily accounting operations and month-end closing activities
• Ensure accurate and timely journal postings, reconciliations, and reporting
• Review accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations

• Ensure smooth execution of daily general ledger operations, including recording journal entries, handling accruals, and completing account reconciliations
• Contribute to the timely and accurate completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities

• Design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP security architecture across the entire landscape (S/4HANA, ECC, BTP, Fiori)
• Management of user access with adherence to SoD policies and regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, GxP)
• Ownership of SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) suite

• Collaboration with regional teams including Banking and Operations to outline the roadmap for new partnerships and bank accounts
• Ownership of the internal onboarding and offboarding process for bank accounts within Wise’s internal infrastructure

• Overseeing lifecycle validation of computer systems to ensure compliance with global regulatory standards
• Providing strategic leadership in developing validation frameworks
• Managing risk-based testing strategies
• Ensuring IT systems are fit for intended use and maintain data integrity

• Technical accounting and interpretation of complex US GAAP and IFRS standards
• Financial documentation and reporting including authoring technical accounting memorandums and reviewing footnote disclosures
