Responsibilities

Trend Scout & Strategist: You will monitor global shifts in tech, sustainability, and digital trends within the sanitary sector. You'll distill these findings into sharp problem statements and strategic opportunity briefs.

AI Knowledge Architect: You will help build and structure a cutting-edge, AI-supported innovation knowledge base using tools like Gemini and NotebookLM to keep the team ahead of the curve.

Innovation Storyteller: You will translate abstract insights into early-stage concept documentation. You'll create user journeys and narratives that visualize "future-state" experiences and clearly communicate the innovation value.

Technical Tinkerer: You will get hands-on with experimental setups to validate technical hypotheses.

Early-stage Prototyper: You will support the birth of new mechanical, electronic, and fluid technology concepts through 3D printing, building and testing low-fidelity prototypes, functional demonstrators, and workshop activities.

User-Centric Tester: You will support scenario testing with real users and conduct rigorous lab tests, documenting the results to ensure our innovations are both functional and human-centered.

Requirements

Enrolled student: You have a technical, creative, or business background, e.g., in Engineering, Innovation Management, Industrial Design, Data Science, UX Management, or related fields.

Deeply Empathetic: You have a genuine passion for understanding user needs, pain points, and behaviors through active listening and keen observation.

Analytical Problem-Solver: You can synthesize complex user feedback and data into clear, unbiased, and actionable insights.

Curious & Creative: You naturally question the status quo and bring "out-of-the-box" ideas to the table.

Resilient & Adaptable: You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, viewing rapid iterations and setbacks as learning opportunities.

We are an international team that drives transformative and radical innovation within our global footprint for future sanitary systems. We are looking for a motivated working student, with a generalist perspective on identifying and solving real problems to support the activities within our Global Research Lab, located in Hemer (NRW). Your role will involve both general assistance and working independently on specified tasks and themes.
