Join a dynamic international team shaping global tax processes!

Our partner is a leading global manufacturing company operating a regional business support centre, driving innovation and operational excellence across EMEA in tax, finance, HR, and compliance.

As part of the Indirect Tax Department, you’ll play a key role in ensuring VAT compliance and driving process improvements through digital and tax technology initiatives.

  • Oversee VAT compliance for EMEA entities, focusing on Hungary and other Eastern-European countries
  • Prepare, review, and submit VAT, Intrastat, and EC Sales reports accurately and on time
  • Identify efficiency gains and automation opportunities within tax processes
  • Support VAT audits and handle queries from local sites, consultants, and authorities
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders and external partners
  • Contribute to local tax tasks (filings, audits, reconciliations, and research)
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • 3–5 years of VAT / Indirect Tax Compliance experience
  • Experience in Hungarian taxation - VAT regulations or other local tax frameworks (direct or indirect)
  • Fluent English and Hungarian (both written and spoken)
  • Experience with ERP (SAP) and strong Excel skills
  • Serbian and/or Czech VAT experience is a big advantages
  • Other European VAT knowledge
  • International scope and regional impact with local responsibility as well
