Task:
- Manage and plan VAVE activities for purchasing material in the defined area of responsibility of Division CVS/Driveline Technology/Driveline Components to contribute the achievement of the defined cost down (PPV) targets
- Develop a three-year VAVE pipeline with measures of resourcing and technical savings
- Ensure continuous idea generation for cost reduction potentials including the exchange of best practices across the regions
- Member of a cross-functional Team to evaluate and execute VAVE measures; to coordinate the required tasks; to consolidate the results; performance management
- Planning, controlling, reporting and forecasting of VAVE measures
- Organize external VAVE workshop with suppliers and defined ZF team to contribute DtC, process improvement, introduction of new materials/new technologies
- Support and collaboration in make/buy projects
Expectation:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of related experience
- Working knowledge of purchasing tools and business communications.
- Basic technical knowledge
- Good communication skills and ability to interface with cross-functional team members
- Analytical thinking and result orientation
- Fluent English and basic German language knowledge
