Upstream Statutory Reporting Senior SME

  • Support operations management across various teams, business and geographies according to process design, especially in topics accounting, reporting and control

  • Drive process simplification, standardization and continuous improvement with the respective operations and optimization teams

  • Participate as required in Global Process Advisory Group forums

  • Drive standardization of process controls and key performance metrics

  • Support maintaining adherence to the Finance and P&O (Production & Operations) and G&LC (Gas & Low Carbon) standards & policies through providing relevant domain expertise to the operations and delivery teams

  • Ensure compliance to the local reporting laws and regulations through understanding of statutory reporting guidance and adaptation to the team’s processes

  • Coordinate the relationships with all relevant business controllers, in-country teams, auditors and central teams.

  • Manage the collaborate with related roles performed across the FBT locations and external audit

  • Recognised accounting qualification (University degree, optional: ACCA and tax advisor certificate)

  • Relevant 8+ years finance and accounting experience

  • Fluency in English

  • Demonstrated end to end process expertise in Finance areas esp. Statutory close, Group close, transactional accounting processes

  • Experience supporting and implementing strategic plans across a team

  • Demonstrated end to end process expertise

  • Readiness for action and ability to work under pressure,

  • Self-confident appearance in relations to the internal and outside world

  • Strong communication and cooperation skills
