Responsibilities
We are looking for a new colleague to join our team of experts :)
You will plan and optimize transport operations through forecasting, real-time tracking, and data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with teams and carriers to ensure smooth deliveries, proactively manage delays, and keep stakeholders informed with clear reporting and KPIs. I also streamline processes, control costs, and handle ad hoc challenges to keep logistics running efficiently.
You will plan and optimize transport operations through forecasting, real-time tracking, and data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with teams and carriers to ensure smooth deliveries, proactively manage delays, and keep stakeholders informed with clear reporting and KPIs. I also streamline processes, control costs, and handle ad hoc challenges to keep logistics running efficiently.
- Preparing weekly transport plan (48 hours forecast, 24 hours orders Export transports)
- Uploading registration number and administration in NERP and also in our internal system
- Cooperate with other departments and freight companies and data supply
- Making reports about truck trailers and optimize freight
- Timing and control of direct transports
- Survey of GPS system and making reports about it
- Preparing statement about storno and demurrage fee and making action plans how can avoid it
- Cooperate with other departments and freight companies and data supply
- Monitoring and follow up outbound truck movements and report regularly to customers
- Follow up European transport
- Forecast expected delays, and report about it
- Managing and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and keep it up to date
- Ad hoc tasks which are defined by direct supervisor
- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports
Requirements
- Secondary school degree/University degree
- 1+ years of experience in an administration, logistics
- Communicative level of English and fluency in Hungarian language
- Advanced level of Excel (pivot tables, V look up)
- Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and responsible approach
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
