Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Translational Science Lead (TSL) to drive the advancement of our oncology portfolio during a critical phase of our development programs. This role is central to shaping translational strategies, enabling precision medicine, and ensuring strong scientific leadership across global projects.
As a TSL, you will create meaningful impact by steering programs from early target assessment through life cycle management. You will define the strategic direction of assigned assets and lead precision medicine initiatives—including patient segmentation, mechanism-of-action validation, and differentiation strategies that guide decision-making from discovery through regulatory registration.
In this position, you will also contribute to building a dynamic and modern functional home—one that values flat structures, collaborative leadership, and innovation without hierarchy. You will champion breakthrough diagnostics concepts, working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to push the boundaries of what is possible in oncology development.
Translational Science Lead (TSL) – Oncology
Key Responsibilities
Provide scientific and strategic leadership for oncology programs across all phases of development.
Develop and execute translational and precision medicine strategies, including companion diagnostics.
Define the vision and direction for assigned assets, ensuring clarity of scientific purpose and program goals.
Lead patient segmentation efforts and establish proof-of-mechanism strategies that guide early and late development.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation in diagnostics and translational science.
Support a functional environment that fosters agility, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
MD and/or PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related scientific discipline.
Strong background in translational science, oncology research, and precision medicine.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs in a global drug development setting.
Experience working across cross-functional teams and with external partners.
Strategic thinker with excellent communication and scientific leadership skills. jid194f12fpn jit0313pn jiy26pn
