Responsibilities

As part of our E.ON International Graduate Program you will have the opportunity to discover and drive the E.ON Group with focus on Procurement for 24 months. You can look forward to:

What you can expect from us

The E.ON Supply Chain is a group-wide functional organization with over 800 employees acting as one team, which manages the group-wide demand with a purchasing volume of over €14 billion. We are a strategic partner for our core business and contribute to E.ON's strategy. We deal with the entire range of procurement activities from strategic planning, supply chain analyses, market screening and supplier management to the operational processes, driving innovation and delivering best solutions for E.ON and our customers.

  • During the program, you'll have the chance to work in different functional placements mainly across the following departments (Strategic Procurement, Transactional Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Analytics or Governance)

  • Moreover, we offer you the opportunity to gain global insights into E.ON's business with a focus on topics like supplier negotiations, development of group-wide purchasing strategies, site visits and contributing to overarching projects such as process development in warehouse logistics and IT interfaces across Europe (e.g. Hamburg, Munich, Malmö, Cluj)

  • In addition, you will complete at least one cross-functional and one international placement. You can choose to focus on E.ON's business areas across Germany and Europe that add the most value to your development journey

Requirements

What we expect from you

  • You have an above average Bachelor's degree in Economics, (Industrial) Engineering or Business Informatics with at least 2 years of relevant working experience or a respective Master's degree

  • You are enthusiastic about technology and have a high affinity for IT

  • You are fluent in English and German

  • Ideally you have gained international experience staying abroad in the form of exchange semesters, internships, or volunteer work

  • Initial experiences with big data, SAP or analytical tools would be ideal

  • You have strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset and can help build valuable relationships with relevant interfaces and stakeholders

  • You have an analytical and solution-oriented way of thinking and working, combined with excellent argumentation skills
